The Home Depot Voluntarily Prepares Environmental Studies

Community Update 06.20.2008: The Home Depot today voluntarily submitted a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Preliminary Review Document for its proposed Sunland-Tujunga store (which includes five technical studies on traffic, land use, air quality, noise and economic issues) to the City of Los Angeles to supplement its permit application to remodel the vacant building. The technical reports, which analyzed issues raised by the community, determined the new store will have no significant impacts. View the environmental studies.

Community Update 06.19.2008:
After attending a series of meetings with members of the Sunland-Tujunga, Shadow Hills, Lake View Terrace and La Tuna Canyon communities, The Home Depot® today submitted an updated application to the City of Los Angeles for a new permit to remodel the currently vacant building located in Sunland-Tujunga. The updated permit application provides additional information about the project based on input at the recent community meetings.

Community Update 06.09.08: The Home Depot would like to thank the Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council Design Advisory Committee, Lake View Terrace Improvement Association, Foothill Trails District Land Use Committee, Shadow Hills Property Owners Association and the greater community of Sunland-Tujunga for the opportunity to present to your organizations and garner your careful consideration for the proposed Sunland-Tujunga store located at the former Kmart site on Foothill Boulevard.
